Terms of Use

1. Definitions

- Dizizid: the online platform facilitating ticket sales
- Organizer: the party organizing an event and offering tickets via Dizizid
- User: any person using the platform
- Agreement: the purchase agreement between User and Organizer
- Ticket: a digital proof of entry for an event

2. Role of Dizizid

Dizizid acts solely as a technical and administrative platform and is not a party to the agreement between the User and the Organizer.

The agreement is concluded exclusively between:
- the User
- the Organizer

Dizizid is not responsible for:
- the content or execution of the event
- changes, postponements or cancellations
- the actions of the Organizer

3. Formation of the agreement

An agreement is concluded once:
- payment has been successfully completed, and
- a confirmation has been sent

Dizizid reserves the right to:
- refuse orders
- cancel transactions

in case of:
- fraud
- technical errors
- misuse of the platform

4. Tickets

A ticket grants a limited, personal and revocable right to access an event.

- Tickets remain the property of the Organizer
- Tickets may not be used for commercial purposes without permission
- Access may be denied in case of misuse
- Dizizid may invalidate tickets in case of violation of these terms

5. Prices and payment

All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.

Additional costs may include:
- service fees
- payment fees depending on the selected payment method and payment provider

Dizizid is not responsible for:
- price changes by Organizers
- obvious pricing errors

In case of evident errors, the agreement may be dissolved.

6. No right of withdrawal

Based on EU law, no right of withdrawal applies to tickets for leisure activities with a specific date.

Purchases are therefore final.

7. Cancellations and refunds

The Organizer is responsible for:
- cancellations
- changes
- refunds

Dizizid only facilitates the technical processing of payments and refunds and is not obliged to issue refunds unless required by law.

Service fees are generally non-refundable.

8. Resale of tickets

Resale of tickets is not permitted unless explicit permission has been obtained from both the Organizer and Dizizid.

Dizizid may:
- invalidate resold tickets
- block accounts in case of misuse

Tickets obtained or used in violation of this article may be invalidated without any right to compensation.

9. Use of the platform

It is prohibited to:
- use bots, scripts or scraping tools
- bypass security measures
- misuse multiple accounts
- purchase tickets for resale (scalping)

In case of violation, Dizizid may:
- block accounts
- cancel tickets
- take legal action

10. Fraud and misuse

Dizizid reserves the right to:
- cancel transactions
- suspend accounts
- invalidate tickets

in case of fraud, chargebacks or abuse of promotions.

11. Liability

Dizizid’s liability is limited to the amount of service fees paid.

Dizizid is not liable for:
- indirect damages (such as loss of profit)
- damages due to event cancellations
- errors by Organizers
- technical failures or downtime

This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.

12. Force majeure

Dizizid is not liable for failures due to force majeure, including pandemics, government measures, infrastructure failures, payment provider outages or cyberattacks.

Obligations may be suspended during force majeure.

13. Third parties

Dizizid uses third-party service providers such as payment providers and hosting services.

Dizizid is not liable for errors or failures of these parties.

14. Privacy

Dizizid processes personal data in accordance with its privacy policy.

In many cases:
- the Organizer is the data controller
- Dizizid acts as a processor

15. Platform availability

Dizizid strives for continuous availability but does not guarantee it.

Dizizid is not liable for interruptions, failures or data loss.

16. Changes

Dizizid may amend these terms at any time. The most recent version applies upon publication.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law.

Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

EU consumers may also use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
